Snow Trooper!

The battle on Hoth forced the rebellion to retreat and marked a resounding victory for the Empire.

According to the official Imperial news agencies, of course.

But one soldier, presumed dead after his AT-AT was destroyed, knows differently. Now he wanders the frozen wasteland, his hatred for the rebellion redirected towards the Empire that left him behind to die. The nights are long and cold, but thoughts of revenge keep him warm.

Or...

We had a blizzard in New York City, and since I didn't have to go to work today, I decided to play with my Star Wars figures.

They're toys, right?

like. I wish I had a skirt for my snow trooper, he's seen better days.

Empire Snow Day, awesome. Every year I break out the Wampas and AT-ATs and cross my fingers that it will snow here in Texas... never does.

Hey, I didn't know you're a fellow New Yorker! And I had the same idea but I used my Artic armor Iron Man and GI Joe Snow Cat! Great pics!

Dan: That comment can be taken so many ways... *grin*

Chunky B: That's both awesome and sad... Maybe one day you'll luck out. Dead birds falling from the sky all over the place -- snow in Texas can't be far behind!

On the other hand, you can always go out to the desert with a bunch of Storm Troopers and re-enact their confrontation with Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru.

Wait, too soon?

Soundwave810: Thanks, glad you liked the pics. Sounds like you had the right idea, too. What good's a snow day if you don't play a little, right?

Great photos. The Snowtrooper was one of the last figures I remember playing with and really loving as a kid. Also the story line here of the soldier long wandering after his battle has ended reminds me of one of my favorite movies - Dead Snow! Love it.

Thanks, Ratherchildish! Considering the quality of your own photos, that means a lot!
